Making Walkable Areas:

having our player starts in there are all fine and dandy but, without any walkable areas, were not going to get very far now are we?  So, we need to make the floor walkable.  Ok, before we get started, make sure nothing is selected so click in the X-Y Screen once and press ESC

Now that nothing is selected were gonna need to get where we can see the floor again, so press the C key a couple times till you see the floor in the camera view window

Once you can see the floor, hold down shift and click the floor in the camera view window.  This should select the floor for you, so you should see a red covering your floor in the camera view again.

Ok, now we need to make it walkable, so Click the Menu option Selection, and move down the menu to where it says "Mark Walkable" like below:

once you click it, your selection will no longer be selected.  If you want to make sure your section is marked as walkable, do the following.

First lets look back up at the menu, select the menu option View, and go down the list till you find "Layers" and click it, a box like the following will pop up.   Click the section tab on it marked "View Options" like in the picture below

Now if you look at the box, you will see a box there next to Walkable, check it, click apply, and then close.  When looking at your map in The Camera View Screen you will notice that your floor now apears as green.  This means the floor is set to walkable.

one more thing to do before we compile our map, yep, the all troublesome sectors... so save your map, and move on to the next tutorial
