Caern of The Dragon
Welcome to The Circle:
This is a map of the Stargazer-Caern of The Dragon. Specifically, it is the Umbral side of the Temple of the Jade Moon. For those of you, unfamiliar with the Umbra, in the most basic terms, it is the Spirit Plane, a constantly shifting, spiritual mirror of all that happens in the physical and mental planes. As such, the normal laws of supposed reality are augmented, bent and at times, broken.
The Gazers are known for their profound dedication to zen wisdom, art and combat; their temples are among the few places remaining to learn the Art of Kailindo. They are known most of all, for their obsession with the Umbra and the enigmas of the stars. At present the gauntlet to the Prime Material Plane in the Caern of The Dragon is impassable partially due to the location of the Caern and partly for the obstructions in the Moon's Path. As Gazers spend great periods in the Velvet Shadow, it does not concern them to be "disconnected".
This Umbral Caern is located in a pocket along the edge of the Weaver Cyber Realm; surrounded on three sides by the Weaver, this Caern is a delicate balance, indeed a living Haiku. It occupies a small area where several intersections meet within the Umbra. From here, the Realms of Thought are more easily accessed and the Realm of Dreams, a step away.
