XP Augmentation Mod
Obex's XP augmentation mod.
Description:
This is a simple mod of the experience gain table for VtM:Bloodlines. I have increased the amount of XP gained for some quest completions. I tried to keep some game balance in mind, so the reward aims to be proportional to the difficulty. Finding Mercurio, for example, is still 1 point, but defeating the shark demon in chinatown is worth quite a bit more.
If you don't like my choices, then change whatever you feel like. Here's how it works. Find a quest line to change:
Tutor01 | Escaped Sabbat Assault | 201
awards 2 XP, for example. Change the entry to:
Tutor01 | Escaped Sabbat Assault | 301
for 3 XP on completion. What does the X01 mean? I haven't a clue.
Installation:
Unzip the file, and place it in your installed directory, which might be c:program filesactivisionVampire - Bloodlines, but I can't remember exactly. Starting a new game should not be necessary.
