PatchesVampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 1.2 PatchThis is the official release of the v1.2 Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines patch by Activision. This patch will update Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines to version 1.2. The patch addresses a number of known issues, including fixes for the Society of Leopold quest, keys and keycards disappearing, the use of Protean (Level 5) and Fortitude at the same time, and various other gameplay updates. It offers two install options "Basic" and "Plus". The "Basic" option (which the installer defaults to) fixes multiple bugs and restores only unused content that has little impact on the gameplay. The "Plus" option (which can be chosen in the installer) adds further improvements and restored content.Since version 6.0, this unofficial patch includes the official patch to v1.2 mentioned above. This means that Wesp's unofficial patch should now work with any version of Bloodlines, regardless of whether or not you installed the official patch before. Added single sound effects to several completely silent cutscenes. Removed humanity loss for killing any kind of hunters on main hubs. Unified burning barrel and fire explosion damage on several levels. Swapped dancers between clubs and restored uncensored intro scenes. Haven: +Made it possible to specify which clothes Heather should wear next. +Swapped two of Gary's emails and fixed them sometimes not appearing. +Placed Obfuscate and Galdjum powerups at sewer and downtown havens. +Made Malkavians loose humanity when sending McFly to threaten cops. +Added option to keep Heather alive and added a humane farewell line. +Created three new Gary poster quests for several unused item models. Corrected Mercurio sending his email too soon or when already dead. Repaired VV and Jeanette sending you their emails at the wrong time. Santa Monica: +Lowered humanity points gainable during the serial killer dialogue. +Added male seduction feeding to blueblood instead of alley walking. +Made CD quest available to all clans as Malkavian lines were there. +Added humanity points for granting money to haven bum and Mercurio. Made Mercurio morphine quest update if you already had some on you. Fixed morphine quest updates after angering Mercurio and warehouse. Repaired Dane crane switch and placed some female bums into the hub. Added boat model to Dane and fixed blood textures and sounds there. Lowered difficulty of Dane computer and made cop acknowledge quest. Made serial killer react to violence and Bertram react to attacks. Removed Masquerade violation and failure for convincing the killer. Fixed Trip's pawnshop door crash and provided look at Gimble's hand. Added four missing doors and fixed floating endgame bus stop maps. Made you remember former knowledge of Rolf Toten and Virgil Crumb. Fixed Lily's sire's license plate in quest log and her diary dates. Made diner cook move more and stopped Doris from falling in floor. Added Lilly's purse to her stuff and uncovered it if Doris is dead. Restored welcome lines of Bertram including xp gain and log update. Added line so you can give the CD to Bertram if you already have it. Made Carson pack his laptop and improved look of Santa Monica rain. Added check for having the astrolite and cops to pier conversation. Restored two dog models to and fixed sounds and a model at junkyard. Reconstructed Bertram's pc and incooperated text of unused emails. Added bloss loss on ghouling Heather and having fun with Jeanette. Corrected freezes on meeting Gimble and the killer while Obfuscated. Added cop cars to beachhouse map and added three unused lines there. Adjusted Cathayan report dates to be in league with morgue pc dates. Pier: +Made letting Julius go free for money end up with humanity balanced. +Awarded xp point for letting Julius free and fixed his wrong aura. +Removed humanity on sending Copper and improved his selling options. +Restored chewing gum to sell to Copper and stashed it on the pier. +Added seperate quest and an xp for exploiting the thin-blood Copper. +Made killing pier cops loose humanity and gave one the baton only. +Sending Copper after the president triggers a Masquerade violation. Lowered money available from Julius and the surf computer difficulty. Removed cop cars from the Santa Monica pier after the police left. Prevented continuing E's quest after you failed it by killing him. Asylum: +The special Jeanette encounter is now possible one additional time. +Granted humanity for persuading Therese and Jeanette to make peace. +Added dominate for Danielle and prevented dead Chunk from dancing. Removed Chunk after you met him downtown and restored female raver. Fixed Jeanette taking knife and hacking and email issues of the PCs. Raised chances for Jeanette and Therese peace and Jeanette winning. Persuading Jeanette and Therese to conciliate is like intended now. Made Ocean House quest failure update when reconciling the sisters. Clinic: +Created alternative for Nosferatu to finish Vandal's donor quest. +Added seperate quest and an xp for saving Heather by ghouling her. Fixed getting Vandal's freebie and made him more talkative overall. Repaired not getting xp for replacing Lily and hacking the passcode. Stopped dead Malcolm sending mail and fixed a dialogue about money. Made clinic guard not open doors twice and lowered his vision stat. Put Heather's name in the morgue file in case you left her to die. The morgue computer will now mention Crumb only after he is around. Made Vandal acknowledge quest payment and corrected two wrong auras. Swapped Lily cutscene Phil with scrubs and adjusted Vandal's line. Prevented asking Malcolm about Heather when you already saved her. Made Vandal quest possible later on too and added Nurse condition. Added option to pay Vandal in case you can't find him a replacement. Gallery Noir: Restored xp gain for entering the Gallery using the help of Chunk. Stealing charity money will not cost humanity if you know about it. Restored cash box item into Gallery Noir and added inspection node. Fixed Gallery bar inspection and made charity money stay available. Made police investigate Gallery crime independent of your actions. Corrected wrong Jeanette quest update and Cal getting "re-hired". Prevented talking with Chunk when someone else attacked the Gallery. Ocean House: +Hid Ocean House killer's axe and increased chance to notice him. +Swapped low dodge book with defense powerup so reading is easier. Prevented re-entering maps and added missing trailer and bar lamps. Restored Hellcat sequence and two ghost scenes at Ocean House hotel. Added and corrected inspection nodes for containers at Ocean House. Restored two ghost whispers, laughter and added vent break sounds. Removed door handle that could be used too soon and fixed one icon. Replaced sky at the Ocean House hotel to get rid of oversized moon. Warehouse: +Changed warehouse bonus xp to stealth and prevented re-entering it. Corrected door with invisible block to make stealthy exit possible. Bonus xp for completing warehouse quest fixed regardless of timer. Added inspection to gasgan at the warehouse that triggers an event. Restored Troika raver with his conversation and forklift sequence. Corrected looping conversation and walk-into ventduct at warehouse. Removed warehouse bum before he witnesses Beckett's transformation. Downtown: +Made Strauss give Fae Charm instead of money and removed a gesture. +Removed Larry's quest buy condition and fixed the briefcase scene. +Made Beckett train up to scholarship 4 meeting him at the museum. Moved Fat Larry to his original place in the alley near Confession. Corrected wrong subtitles for Chunk's brother and Chunks fighting. Fixed Venture Tower debris clipping problems and several bad icons. Corrected Beckett's stats increase and Grout's wife part-vanishing. Made Venture debris stay longer and be visible through the windows. Removed theatre intro extras and computer being hackable too soon. Made Prince react to persuasion for money when sending you to Ming. Placed Gary in council cutscene and synced courtroom sword sounds. Prevented triggering building scene before getting the Muddy quest. Moved the bum in the abandoned building and corrected his fast exit. Removed bug allowing all clans to move using one downtown sewer map. Stopped crackhouse victims from exploding and added TV haven sound. Moved female disease bum next to Last Round to make her lines fit. Restored Ash song into museum and added missing second T-Rex sound. Added doorcode quest log at museum and fixed two bad icons in sewer. Fixed museum laser beams errors and an invisible air vent blockade. Made Regent's quest fail if you betray him and added Blood Hunt line. Swapped Damsel and Skelter and moved Jack down to fit the dialogues. Added missing light effects to cop cars appearing at Venture Tower. Fixed possible crash on leaving Grout's mansion and Obfuscate freeze. Made Empire clerk bisexual and fixed him adressing women with "Sir". Translated Russian lines in dialogues and fixed Boris' fight scene. Rendered the Empire TV inactive and swapped Boris' .38 with a GLOCK. Unlocked Boris' doors for Venus quest and put library card in a room. Prevented Boris' door from closing and Dima from vanishing in view. Forced talking to Boris and fixed Obfuscate and Dementation problems. Fixed Jezebel Locke's trunk icon and removed two blind door handles. Exchanged Brawl and Finance book locations and added Johansen suite. Hospital: Fixed bad hospital level re-enter sounds and card quest update bug. Made Milligan and Pisha react to dominate, intimidate and dementate. Changed a Pisha line to reflect the possibility you killed Milligan. Made everybody lose a humanity point for sending Milligan to Pisha. Added Pisha line about quest item and checked state for another one. Made Pisha leave eventually and her quests fail when attacking her. Turned hospital into Elysium area during your encounter with Pisha. Hollywood: +Made you loose a humanity point for making Ash exchange his clothes. +Added male seduce feed for Tommy and fixed re-persuading or killing. +Made you loose humanity after killing Isaac's sweeper in Hollywood. +Fixed quest log updates on Ash and Romero dying during their quest. +Made Chastity not biteable and fixed Sin Bin handle and area change. Tawni's Flat: Moved a Tawni quest camera into kitchen and showed stealth ratings. Made quest log and laptop show failure and fixed being noticed early. Prevented continuing the Tawni quest after you have been detected. Updated netcafe entries for Tawni and Ash dependent of quest states. Cemetery: +Restored Romero returning after his quest for both quest solutions. +Made Romero train up to Firearms 4 and give you ammo with his rifle. +Added dominate for prostitute and made her leave you when attacked. +Made Romero pimpin quest available after zombie and fixed firearms. After providing Romero with a sexy night he will give you his rifle. Fixed ammo trunk respawning and reduced zombie spawning frequency. Added fade and sound for pleasing Romero and sound to pimpin quest. Fixed Romero locking up for females flirting after the zombie quest. Removed xp for Romero loving after zombie quest but made him return. Jewelry: +Created Charisma powerup from Pearl of Dubai as reward from Isaac. +Made Isaac recognize the Tzimisce defeat even if you pissed him off. Stopped instant teleport to King's Way mansion after watching film. Fixed some Isaac bugs regarding Toreador and his King's Way reward. Reconstructed lip-synchro for Dan's new line and fixed another one. Isaac-Tzimisce dialogue line will disappear after quest is complete. Added Gargoyle quest states and fixed connected quest start issue. Warrens: +Granted occult perception powerup as reward during Mitnick's quest. +Made you lose humanity for taking money as reward of Imalia's quest. +Imalia's magazine quest is now also available after her Tawni quest. +Awarded an xp for getting Imalia's magazine to compensate for money. +Added new quest logs and an xp for Gary's posters and lowered some. Repaired warrens electrical terminal computer and pump 118a display. Made sure the quick Nosferatu dies and adjusted some warrens dates. Highlighted keycard for locked sewer cover independent of inspection. Removed bad warrens re-entry sound and added unused rat crowd model. Improved corpse variety in warrens lair meeting first spider chick. Allowed sewer-warrens detour and made Imalia and Mitnick turn better. Repaired bug that could make Imalia angry before getting her quest. Prevented Imalia's newspaper from appearing when you fail her quest. Repaired Imalia still being angry after you sold her the magazine. Removed an annoying side table in Gary's lair and hid two map holes. Made web cameras stackable and recovered three unseen newspaper cuts. Swapped Gary's quest order and his CD for a box with vacuum tubes. Prevented continuing Mitnick's quest after failing a previous hub. Chinatown: +Added intimidation to Ji and Lu and made killing Lu lower humanity. +Provided a xp for keeping Zhao alive and modified quest accordingly. Restored Yukie to Ramen shop from the start and fixed bad door sound. Fixed bug that could reset Yukie's quest and made her use her sword. Corrected Obfuscate problem when entering the fishmarket with Yukie. Made Tseng talk only of known people and restored Ming/Fu connection. Repaired several Lotus Blossom icons and fixed reaction of tub guy. Corrected Hitman quest rewards and added peace-talk lines for both. Fixed Hitman quest bug that showed failure when making them friends. Gave Shin Guntos to Temple guards and and unstuck Ricky at the Glaze. Restored xp for peaceful Glaze approach and made guards fight back. Removed reference to Ricky at Glaze and made monitor turn off sooner. Added missing lines to Johnny cutscene and unhid special situation. Repaired bugs regarding quest updates when talking to the Mandarin. Turned power on and timer off on re-visiting the Kamikaze Zen map. Replaced money in Kamikaze Zen safe by name plate to fix xp problem. Made Glaze monitor turn off earlier and fixed Zhao death reference. Moved Kamikaze Zen vent exit into a back alley to make more sense. Added one xp for stealing from Kamikaze Zen safe and adjusted logs. Corrected contradiction of Wong Ho newscaster and newspaper report. Removed the Lotus patron after you placed the talisman successfully. Fu Syndicate: Resolved issue with Obfuscated players after entering Fu Syndicate. Improved Barabus' hack position and made PCs accessable afterwards. Released the trapped elevator guard and fixed wrong aura of Barabus. Added emergency doorcode and fixed laser beams error after loading. Improved Fu Syndicate test timing and made Barabus leave with you. Fixed super-sensible guards and added reliefs, a katana and vitae. Removed Fu Syndicate lobby keypad code to avoid breaking the level. Red Dragon: +Granted humanity for saving Wong Ho and adjusted warning conditions. Wong Ho and hostess will not be in the Red Dragon after they left. Corrected some subtitles so the Hengeyokai surprise is not spoiled. Prevented Zygaena from appearing in the Red Dragon after he is dead. Corrected hostess not getting elevator and phoning without a phone. Placed unused throwing star model on one of the empty office desks. Lowered award for killing a demon in his human form to two xps only. White Cloud: +Made Galdjum and Heart of Eliza occult items be rewarded by Mr. Ox. Swapped unique car, fixed it's texture and improved Nadia sequence. Prevented gaining surplus xp by spoiling multiple Giovanni secrets. Leopold Society: +Placed the flamethrower somewhere in the level where you meet Bach. +Created seperate quest for freeing Ash and provided an xp for it. +Made getting secret informations from Johansen and Knox consistent. After giving Ash the bloodpack it will be gone from your inventory. Restored missing sounds to Bach cutscene and missing xp on escaping. Replaced some male hunters with females and swapped several weapons. Added humanity gain for saving Johansen instead of missing torture. Fixed exit crash with style and grace and lowered barrel inspection. Placed howitzer gun in first level and ancient text model in second. Hallowbrook: +Moved the Ra blade in Andrei's lair and removed the flamethrower. +Added Heather remembrance lines and slash sounds and blood before.
